Eric Axelrod
Eric Axelrod is the Founder and Executive Director of Wood4Good and has led the organization since its start in 2019. He brings more than 25 years of experience managing a successful recruiting business and a strong ability to build lasting relationships. Eric’s leadership and community connections have helped grow Wood4Good into a regional, community-driven organization supported by more than 300 volunteers.
Nancy Rosenbaum
Nancy Rosenbaum brings deep experience in quality control, documentation, and compliance to Wood4Good. A retired Senior Documentation Specialist from ASRC RTS, she supported NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center for more than a decade and played a key role in maintaining ISO 9001 management systems. Nancy provides careful oversight and a strong commitment to accountability and excellence.
Jed Rankin
Jed Rankin brings more than 30 years of experience from IBM and GLOBALFOUNDRIES to Wood4Good. His background spans technical operations and strategic business development, with a focus on improving efficiency and aligning complex systems. Jed supports organizational planning, operational clarity, and long-term sustainability.
Jesse Pelton
Jesse Pelton contributes a strong technical and systems-oriented perspective to the Wood4Good Board of Directors. A retired software engineer with experience at Sharecare and a graduate of Dartmouth College, Jesse brings analytical thinking and problem-solving skills that support effective planning and operational clarity. His background helps Wood4Good strengthen internal systems and scale its community-led model.
Dan Feeney
Dan Feeney brings more than two decades of leadership and financial experience to the Wood4Good Board of Directors. Formerly Chief Executive Officer of North Star Leasing Company in Burlington, Vermont, Dan helped grow the company’s portfolio from approximately $12 million to more than $200 million while guiding the organization through major economic challenges. Known for his people-first leadership philosophy—“succeed by helping others succeed”—Dan strengthens Wood4Good’s strategic thinking, financial stewardship, and long-term sustainability.
Jason Ehlers
Jason Ehlers brings a career-long focus on risk management, governance, and operational integrity to the Wood4Good Board of Directors. An Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, he helps organizations design accountable systems, safeguard data, and meet oversight expectations. Jason is a longtime volunteer and community advocate, including prior service with United Way of Lamoille County, reflecting a lifelong commitment to practical, people-first causes. His perspective supports Wood4Good’s mission as a local nonprofit by strengthening internal controls, transparency, and sustainability.
Bob Pekar
Bob Pekar brings senior executive leadership and organizational management experience to the Wood4Good Board of Directors. As Chief Executive Officer of Oaks Integrated Care, Bob has led a large, mission-driven organization focused on serving vulnerable populations through accountable governance and strategic planning. His experience strengthens board oversight and supports Wood4Good’s long-term sustainability and growth.
