How Can You Help?

Once we learned how many members of our community struggled with heating their homes, the desire to act was one we could not ignore. Everyone deserves a warm home and, at Wood4Good, we feel we have a responsibility to our community to help meet this basic need. Our goal is to improve heat security across Vermont; one house, one town, one community at a time.

When you volunteer for Wood4Good you are making a tangible impact in the life of a neighbor. The efforts of our volunteers mean the difference between a family struggling for heat and one tucked inside a warm home. 

Every volunteer who makes the decision to help makes the difference between a family going cold and being a little warmer in the winter.

Volunteer Positions Needed

Woodlot Volunteer

Most volunteers will fall under this category

Delivery Driver

1-2 hour commitment per delivery, looking for all times, expecially on weekends(No physical work required)

Chainsaw Operator

Must have experience, both weekday and weekend times available

Heavy Equipment Operator

Must have experience, weekday and weekend times available
