This past Sunday, 11 amazing volunteers from Church at the Well VT came out to lend a hand — and a lot of heart — to Wood4Good VT! Together, they turned a crisp fall day into a celebration of service, teamwork, and community spirit.
Over the course of the day, the team accomplished an incredible amount of work — processing 10 cords of firewood, distributing 7 seasoned cords to local families, and stacking 3 green cords for future use. To top it off, they even rolled 25 bundles of firewood, helping Wood4Good continue its mission of keeping Vermonters warm through the winter months.
Between loads of wood, laughter, and good conversation, volunteers refueled with fresh apple cider and donuts — the perfect Vermont combo for a fall workday. The air was filled with the sound of saws, the crunch of leaves under boots, and the unmistakable feeling of community coming together for a good cause.

Wood4Good VT is deeply grateful to the Church at the Well crew for showing up with such energy, generosity, and good humor. Your effort made a real difference — not just in cords and bundles, but in the lives of neighbors who’ll stay warm this winter thanks to your service.
Thank you Church at the Well, for helping us warm hearts and warm homes. We couldn’t do our important work without community members like you!
