We are thrilled to announce that Wood4Good has been selected as a 2026 Sunshine Fund recipient by Lawson’s Finest Liquids! Earlier this week, we received the exciting news from the Lawson’s team, who shared that after reviewing applications from numerous community organizations, they chose Wood4Good as one of the featured beneficiaries for the coming year. Their Sunshine Fund program highlights local nonprofits that bring meaningful impact to Vermont communities—and we are honored to be included.

As part of this partnership, Wood4Good will be “On Tap” as the designated Sunshine Fund organization from January 16–31, 2026. During this two-week period, 100% of the donations made by guests in the Lawson’s Finest Liquids Taproom—located on Carroll Road in Waitsfield—will go directly to supporting our work. This incredible model not only raises funds but also amplifies awareness by connecting visitors with mission-driven organizations that strengthen the community.
We’re also excited to bring the whole Wood4Good community together for a night of connection, celebration, and purpose. Join us on January 22nd from 5-8pm at Lawson’s Finest Liquids in Waitsfield, Vermont as we gather with friends, supporters, and anyone who believes in the power of helping neighbors stay warm. It’s the perfect chance to meet new faces, share stories, and strengthen the mission that keeps our work moving forward. We can’t wait to see you there and celebrate everything we’re building together.
This collaboration is especially meaningful because it aligns with our mission of bringing warmth, stability, and connection to families across Vermont. The visibility and generosity generated through the Sunshine Fund will directly support our ability to deliver firewood to families in need, expand our volunteer network, and continue fueling grassroots community care during the coldest months of the year.
